After breakfast, you start your guided tour visiting the major sights of the capital; including the oldest sight of Wat Sisaket, the temple with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha image. On the way to the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, you have the opportunity to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is well known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph. Day 1: Arrive in Vientiane
Welcome to Vientiane. Upon arrival, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel. Overnight at your hotel in Vientiane.

Day 2: Vientiane-City Tours (Breakfast/Lunch)
After breakfast, you start your guided tour visiting the major sights of the capital; including the oldest sight of Wat Sisaket, the temple with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo whichpreviously housed the famous Emerald Buddha image. Day 3: Vientiane-Buddha Park (Breakfast/Lunch)
Following breakfast, you begin your tour of the major sights out of town travelling about 30 km. Visit Buddha Park, a blend of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures created by a mystical monk on parkland, located by the Mekong River and the impressive Lao- Thai Friendship Bridge. En route stop at Lao/Thai Bridge, taking photos before continuing to the park. Late afternoon return to the town and transfer to your hotel.

Day 4: Vientiane – Xieng Khouang – Phone Savanh (Flight QV 401 @ 13:30-14:00) (Breakfast/Lunch)
In the afternoon, you will take a short flight to Xiengkhouang, which was devastated by American bombing between 1964 and 1973. Upon arrival, you are transferred to your hotel.

Day 5: Around Xieng Khuang (Breakfast/Lunch)
After breakfast, your tour takes you by road to visit the Plain of Jars, an impressive archaeological site where hundreds of large stone jars are scattered over the landscape. The tour continues to the old capital of Muang Khoun Province and the nearby villages, home to the Hmong hill tribe and Tai Dam people. They have an interesting local culture and a colorful history. Overnight in Phonsavanh.

Day 6: Xieng Khuoang – Luang Phrabang (Overland) (Breakfast/Lunch)
Early in the morning, you explore the Central Market of Phonsavanh, to observe the different Hill Tribes bartering and exchanging merchandise. The journey to Luang Prabang begins. On the 306 km. trip you will see an historic site more than 200 years old, Buddha images in Thampra and Hmong and varied hill tribe minority villages along the roadside. These friendly people will welcome you to their village. After a photo opportunity stop, the drive continues ascending the splendid mountain and forest scenery. Enjoy a tea or coffee break at Sala Phoukhoun, the T-junction where Vientiane-Xiengkhouang meets Luang Prabang. The journey will continue over the mountainous region to Luang Prabang. The tranquility and charm of this town with its splendid natural scenery and cultural sights makes it one of the most delightful places to visit in Laos. Day 7: Luang Prabang-City Tours (Breakfast/Lunch)
After breakfast, visit the National Museum, then on to visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrines of Wat Aham, Wat Mai and Wat Xieng Thong. You then climb to the top of Phousi Mount to discover the sacred, gilded stupa as well as witnessing a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. From there, you explore the Street Night Market, where you can find amazing collections of handmade local textiles created by local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang. Spend overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 8: Luang Prabang - Kuang Sii Waterfall (Breakfast/Lunch)
Enjoy your breakfast and drive out of town 30km. to the beautiful Kuang Sii Waterfall, where you can swim, relax and soft trek to the top of the waterfall. It is a truly amazing series of waterfalls and beautiful blue water pools. On your return journey you stop at a village of the Black Hmong ethnic group, where hill tribe handmade handicrafts can be purchased as souvenirs. Arrive back in the town at your hotel. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 9: Luang Prabang-Pak Ou Cave (Breakfast/Lunch)
After breakfast, you enjoy a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which gives you a beautiful view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves, crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes. Along the way, we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they distill local rice wine. On return, we take a short drive to Ban Xang Khong, well known for its hand weaving. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 10: Luang Prabang- Textile Village - Elephant Camp (Breakfast/Lunch)
After breakfast, drive out of town to visit the elephant camp at the beautiful TAD SAE waterfall. En route stop at the famous weaving village of Ban Phom Nom. These villagers once served and made handicrafts for the last king of Laos. There is also a visit to Henrimouhot which is a monument at Kang Noon to the French man, who discovered Angkor Wat in Siem Reap but died at Kang Noon from malaria when he moved to Laos. Then your tour will continue to the elephant camp where your guide will brief you about the elephants’ history and daily activities. Feed the elephants some vegetables and enjoy a 30 to 40 minute elephant ride.
Return to the town and relax at your hotel overnight.

Day 11: Luang Prabang-Departure (Breakfast)
After breakfast prepare for your transfer to the airport for your departure Your trip ends.
