Day 1: Phnom Penh Arrival (D)
On arrival at the airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel (room may ready at noon). This afternoon, discover Phnom Penh City, visit Wat Phnom, an ancient pagoda standing up on the hill, Independence Monument commemorating the end of Cambodia's rule by France in 1953 and Wat Unalom, the oldest Buddhist foundation in the city, probably predating the abandonment of the capital at Angkor in the 15th century. Continue your visit to the National Museum built in 1917-18 and exclusively dedicated to Khmer arts. Visit the Royal Palace built in 1866 and the Silver Pagoda located within the Royal Palace compound. Dinner is at a local restaurant.

Day 2: Phnom Penh – Siem Reap (B, L)
After breakfast, you will visit the famous Tuol Sleng Museum and Cheung Ek, better known as the Killing Fields, where large numbers of people were killed and buried in mass graves. Return to the city and if time permits you will visit the Russian market before having your lunch. You will then be transferred to Siem Reap by van. On arrival check into your will hotel.

Day 3: Siem Reap – Temples (B, D)
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and then your tour will visit the Rolous group of monuments which served as the capital of Indravarman I (reigned 877-89). These are the earliest large, permanent temples built by the Khmers and mark the beginning of Khmer classical art. Preah Ko was erected by Indravarman I in the late 9th century and dedicated by the King to his ancestors in 880. Bakong the largest and most interesting of the Roluos group of temples is an active Buddhist monastery just to the north of the east entrance. Lolei was built on an islet in the center of a large reservoir (now rice fields) by Yasovarman I, the founder to the first city at Angkor. Continue your visit to the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm which is an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers embracing themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man's creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature. Explore this masterpiece as well as some of the surrounding temples including Banteay Kdei, Sra Srong, Ta Keo, Thommanon and Chau Say Tevado. Overnight at hotel

Day 4: Siem Reap – Temples (B, L)
Breakfast is at your hotel –and today you will visit the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century). See the South Gate (with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk), Bayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara), the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. In the afternoon, visit the most famous of all the temples on the Angkor plain, Angkor Wat. The temple complex, cover 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat's five towers symbolize Meru's five peaks, the enclosed wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding moat symbolizes the ocean beyond sunset from Phnom Bakheng, one of two hills dominating the plain of Angkor. Here you will have a spectacular view of the Western Baray and Angkor Wat.

Day 5: Siem Reap – Bantey Srei – Tonle Sap Lake – Ho Chi Minh (B, L)
Early this morning you will be driven to the famous Banteay Srei (Citadel of Women) about 35 km from Siem Reap town. Banteay Srei temple (10th century), is regarded as the jewel in the crown of classical Khmer Art. Continue your visit to Banteay Samre, built in the third quarter of the 12th century. It consists of a central temple with four wings preceded by a hall and accompanied by two libraries, the southern example remarkably well preserved. You return to Siem Reap and continue your tour visiting the floating village of Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Visit the village and take an excursion in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap Lake, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia, and then visit Les Artisan D' Angkor.
Transfer to Siem Reap Int’s Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh.
Upon your arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, your tour guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in the city center. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Relax or explore the city on your own. In the evening, savor a welcome dinner at the Award Winning Mandarin Restaurant.

Day 6: Ho Chi Minh City Tour – Cu Chi Tunnels (B)
This morning, you will visit the War Remnants Museum. Learn about Vietnam’s recent history at the Reunification Palace, visit the nearby neo-Romanesque Notre Dame Cathedral and the City's Centre Post Office before passing by the ornate Opera Theatre and the City Hall. Explore the Ben Thanh Market, where vendors display a vast array of goods and handicrafts, appealing to every taste.
After lunch, you leave Ho Chi Minh on an afternoon excursion for Cu Chi. The Cu Chi Tunnels are an underground labyrinth of passageways, used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War (or “American War” as it’s referred to here) as protection against American air raids. Those inclined are invited to crawl through sections of the tunnels to better understand what life was like for the Vietnamese soldiers during wartime.

Day 7: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta (Cai Be) – Ho Chi Minh (B)
Today you travel to the Mekong River Delta on a day trip to explore the rich culture and lush alluvial landscape. After breakfast, your guide & driver will meet you at your hotel and take you to Cai Be. Board your private sampan to visit Cai Be’s colorful floating market, passing by a beautiful cathedral. Proceed to view local cottage industries and home factories to see how rice paste, rice cookies and coconut candies are made, along with the longan fruit drying process. Continue your tour to the evergreen islands in the middle of the meandering canals. Enjoy a delicious lunch served at an Indochine Villa in the cool shade of fruit orchards. After lunch take a short walk to Ba Bon Bridge where your driver will pick you up and transfer you to Ho Chi Minh.

Day 8: Ho Chi Minh – Fly to Nha Trang (B)
You are free until the midday when your driver transfers you to the airport for a flight north to the beach city of Nha Trang. Upon arrival at Cam Ranh Airport, meet your tour guide and driver and then visit the ancient Po Nagar Cham Tower, Long Son Pagoda the Alexander Yersin Museum, the XQ workshop where exquisite handmade embroideries can be seen, and Dam Market. Check into the Evason Ana Mandara Resort, situated on a beautiful stretch of beach and boasting over 20,000 square meters of tropical gardens overlooking the sea, one of Vietnam’s most desirable seaside locations. The rest of the day is free to spend your time on the beach. You have a choice of indoor, veranda or beach dining with a spectacular panoramic view of Nha Trang Bay. Enrich your day with a modern fine dining cuisine dinner at the resort.

Day 9: Nha Trang – Excursion to nearby islands – Spa Session (B)
A morning boat trip on Nha Trang Bay visits some of the nearby islands where you will have the opportunity to swim and snorkel in the warm turquoise waters. After a fresh seafood lunch, you return to the mainland. In the afternoon, explore Nha Trang at your own pace. Do not miss a 90 minute pampering treatment at the Ana Mandara's exquisite Six Senses Spa, located alongside the beach in a coconut plantation, setting new standards in spa design with the use of natural tones, traditional Vietnamese style and water elements (Sensory Spa Journey package – The Soul of Six Senses).

Day 10: Nha Trang – Fly to Danang – Hoian (B)
Today you take a short flight to Danang. On arrival, your driver will meet you and transfer you to The Nam Hai – a magnificent resort set amid the lush landscape of the East Sea. Located along a one kilometer stretch of pristine white sand beach on Vietnam’s Central Coast, The Nam Hai offers a luxuriant tropical setting conducive to rest and relaxation.

Day 11: Hoian Walking Tour – Boat trip (B)
Immerse yourself in the tranquility and charm of this sleepy riverside town. From the 16th to 18th centuries Hoian was a thriving international port frequented by Chinese, Dutch, French, Japanese, Portuguese and Arab traders, who came to trade in the high quality silk still produced in the region. Today, Hoian is a relaxing resort popular with tourists for its eclectic architecture, skilled tailors and numerous cafes. Take a half-day walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the ancient town centre, visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, the Chinese Assembly Hall, the 200-year old Tam Ky ancestral house and the famous Japanese Bridge. After lunch, take a short boat trip to a nearby island and visit a handicraft village specializing in ceramics. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 12: Hoian – Free at leisure (B)
Today you are free at your leisure.

Day 13: Hoian – Danang – Fly to Hanoi (B)
Have breakfast at your hotel then drive to Danang Airport to catch the morning flight to Hanoi. Your driver and guide will meet you at the arrival lounge of Noi Bai Airport and take you to your hotel in the city center. Check in at the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hotel, an award-winning French colonial-style hotel located in the heart of Hanoi.
In the afternoon enjoy a cyclo tour through the Old Quarter’s narrow streets lined with French colonial buildings – followed by a gourmet dinner at Le Beaulieu Restaurant – the home of fine French food, with gastronomic cooking, regular regional specialties, an epic cheese board and a professional wine list.

Day 14: Hanoi City Tour (B)
Today you have a full day to explore Vietnam’s charming capital. With its wide tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and ancient oriental pagodas, Hanoi is an eclectic mix that offers something for everyone. Your city tour will take you to Hanoi’s key sites: the Ho Chi Minh Complex (Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and stilt house), the Presidential Palace, the nearby One Pillar Pagoda; the Temple of Literature; West Lake including the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda & Quan Thanh Temple; and one of the city's museums (a choice between the History Museum and the Ethnology Museum). Later in the afternoon, enjoy a traditional Water Puppet Performance – a unique Vietnamese art form hailing from Southeast Asia’s wet-rice culture.
You are free in the evening.

Day 15: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Overnight on cruise (B, L, D)

AM: Be picked up at your hotel from 8h00 for a 3.5 hour bus ride through the country side of the Red River Delta to Ha Long City. Upon arrival, board the Halong Phoenix Cruiser and enjoy a delicious fresh seafood lunch (vegetable menu available) as the boat sets sail.
PM: A short tender boat ride will take you from the middle of the bay to an island to visit the famous and magnificent Sung Sot Cave, followed by visiting Ti Top island. Relax on its beach or walk up to the mountain top for the panoramic view of the anchorage area. As the sun sets over the bay, just relax on sundeck with your favorite drink. Dinner is served with typically local seafood.

Day 16: Halong Bay – Hanoi - Departure (B, L)
AM: Awake to breathtaking views of the bay. Enjoy your breakfast and prepare for your fun day of kayaking around the serene bay.Return to the boat and learn the recipe and techniques that go into creating the most popular dish of the Vietnamese. Lunch will be served as you cruise back to the harbor.
PM: Your bus is waiting at the port to take you back to Hanoi. .
