Welcome to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival at Luangsay Pier, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel. After a short break you start your tour of the major sites including the National Museum. Visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun, the shrine of Wat Mai and Wat Xieng Thong. You will then climb to the top of Phousi Mount to explore the sacred, gilded stupa as well as view a beautiful sunset over the city and the Mekong River. Return to Luang Prabang and explore the Street Night Market, where you can discover handmade textiles produced by the local people and hill tribe communities. Day 1: Arrive in Luang Prabang (Dinner)
Welcome to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival at Luangsay Pier, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel. After a short break you start your tour of the major sites including the National Museum. Visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun, the shrine of Wat Mai and Wat Xieng Thong. You will then climb to the top of Phousi Mount to explore the sacred, gilded stupa as well as view a beautiful sunset over the city and the Mekong River. Return to Luang Prabang and explore the Street Night Market, where you can discover handmade textiles produced by the local people and hill tribe communities. Day 2: Luang Prabang-Kuang Sii Fall (Breakfast/Lunch)
Arise early to experience the practice of “Alms –Giving”, whereby hundreds of monks walk along the road and collect rice and food from laymen. You may follow the monks as they proceed with this daily practice Continue your morning witnessing the morning market of fresh produce at Prakham village.
After breakfast drive out of town 30km. to the beautiful Kuang Sii Waterfall, where you can swim, relax and soft trek to the top of the waterfall. Be amazed by the blue water pools. On return stop at the village of the Black Hmong where you may purchase handmade crafts as souvenirs. Arrive in the town at your hotel for the night.

Day 3: Luang Prabang-Pak Ou Cave (Breakfast/Lunch)
After breakfast, you will enjoy a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, observing the beautiful views of the tranquil countryside.Enjoy a visit to the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes. The tour stops at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they distill local rice wine. On the return journey, drive to Ban Xang Khong, well known for its hand weaving. Spend overnight at your hotel in Luang Prabang.

Day 4: Luang Prabang - Xieng Khuang (Breakfast/Lunch) (By land)
Today a 6 to 7 hour drive takes you to Xiengkhouang, which was devastated by American bombing between 1964 and 1973. Upon arrival, you will visit the Plain of Jars, an impressive archaeological site where hundreds of large stone jars are scattered over the plateau. Visit the old capital of Muang Khoun Province and the nearby villages, home to the Hmong hill tribe and Tai Dam people. They have interesting local cultures and colorful histories. Overnight in Phonsavanh.

Day 5: Xieng Khuang - Vientiane(Breakfast/Lunch) (QV 402 @ 1410-1440)
After breakfast visit the central market before taking a short flight to Vientiane. Upon arrival in Vientiane the capital of Laos, transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Vientiane.

Day 6: Vientiane-City Tours (Breakfast/Lunch)
Enjoy breakfast and then you start your visit of the major sights of the capital; including the ancient Wat Sisaket, the temple with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo whichpreviously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. On the way to the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa you stop to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is well known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph. Visit Ban Nong Buathong, known as Textile Village. Overnight in Vientiane.

Day 7: Vientiane – Pakse - Boliven Plateau - Pakse (Breakfast/Lunch) (QV 512 @ 0630-0745, Daily)
Early in the morning you are transferred to Wattay Airport to take a flight to Pakse. Upon arrival, you are met by your guide and driven by car to Saravanh province via Tateng. Along the way you are able to observe the local people making tea and coffee in their traditional way and sample a cup of their local brew. Observe the culture and the way of life as you travel to Boliven Plateau. Here you will see the cultivation of coffee, tea, cardamon, bananas, and other crops along the roadside. Experience the tumbling waters a nd lush surrounds of Tad Lo and Tad fan waterfalls. A visit to the villages of the Alak, Nge and Katu ethnic minority groups is also part of today’s discoveries. The adventure takes you off the beaten path to explore some of the wild beauty of the lesser-known areas in the southern region of Laos. Return to town late in the afternoon. Overnight in Pakse.

Day 8: Pakse – Wat Phou – Don Khong (Breakfast/Lunch)
After breakfast, you begin your journey to Khong Island. Cross the Mekong River by ferry to visit the Pre-Angkorian ruins of Wat Phu, one of Southeast Asia’s most dramatically located temples. Explore these Khmer ruins, perched atop a nearby hill, which is a part of the Lao World Heritage site recognized by UNESCO in 2001. This wonderful archeological site of Khmer civilization dates back to the 9th to 12th centuries. You continue your journey to Don Khong by land and then a ferry motor boat through the 4000 islands region to your destination. Overnight in Don Khong.

Day 9: Don Khong – Khone Island –Pakse (Breakfast/Lunch)
After breakfast, depart Don Khong. Board a long boat and travel on the Mekong River to the largest island and administrative centre of Don Khone Here you will see remnants of the French period. Continue by boat to Nakasang, a small riverside fishery village and busy boat and bus station for this area. It also has a large market serving this southern part of Laos. Your tour then continues with a drive by car, further south to visit Khone Phapheng.

Here you will see Liphi Waterfall known as the "Corridor of the Devil”. This is the biggest waterfall in South East Asia. It is a really impressive sight located on the Lao-Cambodian border surrounded with lush vegetation teeming with wildlife. Today’s tour returns to the mainland at Ban Pakse late afternoon.
Overnight in Pakse.

Day 10: Pakse - Depart (Breakfast)
After breakfast you are transferred to Pakse airport for a your flight. Your tour is ended. .
